Lead Systems Administrator (Networks)
Are you a highly experienced systems administrator with a solid background within technical engineering, systems and infrastructure? If so, we would love to hear from you.
We are recruiting for a Lead Systems Administrator to join our technology division in Taunton, Somerset, we offer a hybrid working arrangements and flexible working is our default.
This is an exciting career opportunity for you to join our growing Technical Systems team, where you will play a pivotal role in the delivery and support of business-critical IT services and will provide guidance to software engineering teams on infrastructure and security architecture.
You will work as part of the Technical Systems Team and will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge both through formal training and other development opportunities.
Essential Technical Experience:
* Significant, proven experience or working as a senior team member or leader within systems administration
* Solid technical engineering experience, working within Technical Systems environments, primarily with Firewalls, Load balancers, VPNs, wireless networks and LAN infrastructure
* Expertise in Infrastructure including cloud-based technologies (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
* Experience in Firewall administration
* Experience in Cloud Administration
* Experience of Fortinet products
The suitable candidate will be team oriented, with excellent written and oral communication skills to produce reports and give presentations to whole team and large groups.
You will be highly capable in reporting and documentation skills, to set out information in a concise and logical manner and be confident in planning and organisational skills to effectively deliver requirements.
You should have the ability to work off your own initiative and with minimal instruction.
