Job Description
The key responsibilities for the Process Assistant Customer Service role are:
* Dealing effectively with queries from customers (both internal and external) via telephone, email, or in person, maintaining a professional and efficient attitude following customer service standards.
* Resolving as many queries as possible during the initial contact.
* Being proactive to customer needs.
* Achieving standards set within the SLA for KPI needs on behalf of all trusts.
* Providing clear, concise, and accurate information to clients, their employees, and third parties, ensuring a positive and professional manner at all times.
* Following the guidelines laid out under the Data Protection Act.
* Proactively ensuring payroll staff achieve Key Performance Indicators related to call resolution.
* Maintaining a basic awareness of statutory regulations regarding National and Local deductions from pay such as PAYE and NI.
* Constructing suitable responses to queries from staff, HMRC, and other outside organizations, verbally and in writing.
* Flexibly processing multiple inquiries on multiple customer payrolls.
* Adhering to NHS SBS internal policies.
* Ensuring compliance with departmental internal controls and the financial framework determined by the client.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate should have:
* The ability to work in a team.
* Numerate and methodical skills.
* Good PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to input from basic data sources and produce basic spreadsheets.
* The ability to multitask.
* The ability to prioritize tasks.
* Basic understanding of Time Management.
* Understanding of performance targets.
* Experience handling telephone calls and emails.
* Previous call center and customer service experience or experience in a fast-paced work environment.
