Band 8b Clinical Psychology Role
Available offering clinical input and leadership across the Fylde Coast Access & Urgent Care (AUC) pathway in the Home Based Treatment Team (HBTT) & Mental Health Liaison Team (MHLT).
We require a motivated, dynamic, and experienced qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our teams working within the Access and Urgent Care Pathway, specifically in the HBTT and MHLT. The teams have a well-established psychology presence and a high regard for psychological services.
The successful applicant will work alongside a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, an Assistant Clinical Psychologist, and Trainee Clinical Psychologists. The teams are multidisciplinary, highly skilled, and collaborative with psychology.
The role offers opportunities to contribute to the development of psychological services, work with diverse clinical presentations across all ages, and engage in direct and systemic clinical work, including consultation, teaching, training, research, audit, and leadership. There are options for brief clinical work within the teams and potential for longer-term clinical work through local community mental health teams.
As a principal psychologist, there are opportunities to deputise for the psychology lead within the Network. The post-holder will be part of a supportive network of psychological professionals across the Fylde Coast, including Older Adult and Inpatient psychology services. The team is friendly, supportive, and meets regularly.
Opportunities for developing therapeutic skills in Internal Family Systems, EMDR, and Compassion Focused Therapy are available, with clinical and peer supervision provided in each modality.
The Fylde Coast is accessible via M6 and M55 motorways. The base location for this role is negotiable across the Access and Urgent Care Teams.
