About the Role
The Occupational Therapy Support Coordinator assists the Occupational Therapy Team in delivering timely, effective, and person‑centred support to Kingston residents. You will coordinate assessments, organise essential equipment or adaptations, and ensure smooth communication between service users, families, professionals, and partner agencies. Your role helps keep the service running efficiently—supporting Occupational Therapists, managing workflow, and ensuring residents receive the right support at the right time. Ultimately, the purpose of the job is to improve the quality of life for individuals across Kingston while contributing to a responsive, compassionate, and high‑quality OT service.
About You
We’re looking for a motivated and organised individual who brings solid skills and a passion for supporting others. You’ll need to hold an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, have experience using case‑based ICT systems, and possess strong literacy, numeracy, interpersonal, and IT abilities. Ideally, you will also have experience working with adults in a care or health setting, a basic understanding of occupational therapy, and a good standard of written and verbal communication. Confidence with record‑keeping, basic IT skills, and access to transport for visiting residents are also desirable.
