This is a key opportunity for an Estimator to join a well-established, family-owned construction business in Oldham that is entering an exciting growth phase. With a strong track record delivering traditional build projects up to £5M, the business is now looking to strengthen its pre-construction capability as it pushes towards larger schemes and framework opportunities. The Estimator will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s future success, working closely with senior leadership to drive tendering strategy and win work. This Estimator position is ideal for someone who wants to step into a business where their input genuinely matters and where they can influence growth from the ground up.
Responsibilities
As an Estimator, you will take ownership of the tendering process from initial enquiry through to submission. You’ll be responsible for pricing projects, reviewing drawings and specifications, engaging with the supply chain, and preparing competitive and accurate tenders. The Estimator will work closely with the commercial and operational teams to ensure alignment between pricing and delivery. You will also support bid strategy, identify value engineering opportunities, and contribute to continuous improvement within the pre-construction function. This Estimator role offers a broad scope, giving you full visibility across the pipeline of work.
