Qualified Social Worker needed for our Safeguarding Team in Liverpool, paying £40 ph - Hybrid Working!
* Location: Liverpool (Hybrid Working)
* Rate: £40 per hour
* Working Pattern: 35 hours per week
About The Role:
This role sits within a fast-paced and supportive Safeguarding Service, working with children and families where there are child protection concerns. You will play a vital role in assessing risk, managing complex cases, and ensuring children are kept safe while supporting families to make sustainable changes. The team is committed to high-quality, child-focused practice and timely interventions
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a caseload of children subject to Child in Need, Child Protection, and care proceedings
* Undertake assessments, including Section 17 and Section 47 enquiries
* Develop, implement, and review child protection and care plans
* Work in partnership with families and multi-agency professionals to reduce risk and improve outcomes
* Attend and contribute to core group meetings, case conferences, and court proceedings
* Prepare clear, analytical reports for legal processes and decision-making
* Maintain accurate, up-to-date case recordings in line with statutory requirements
