1 day per week - office based and 1 day remote working per month
Days of working can be flexible and agreed in advance

Rate: £200 per day | Total £9,000

RIG Arts is seeking an experienced Freelance Creative Producer to embed quality and ambition across programme delivery, building on our well-established and award-winning socially engaged arts practice.
Supported by Creative Scotland’s Multi-Year Funding, this role is key to RIG’s next phase of development. It’s an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic, values-led team based in Inverclyde.
About the Role
The Creative Producer will lead on shaping and delivering the creative strategy of our Creative Scotland Multi-Year programme. You’ll ensure our artistic outputs are of the highest standard, aligned with RIG’s vision, local priorities and national cultural strategies.
You will:
Champion excellence in project delivery with strong social impact
Guide idea development from inception to delivery
Support recruitment of creative practitioners
Facilitate collaboration with artists and organisations whose practice aligns with RIG’s aims
Strengthen RIG’s artistic and curatorial voice
Identify local priorities and align them with national cultural strategies
Drive a culture of critical reflection and continuous improvement
Contribute to branding, messaging, and cultural voice across digital platforms
This role requires both strategic thinking and a hands-on approach. You will help grow our network, foster partnerships, and ensure our creative work remains ambitious, inclusive, and impactful.
