About The Fragrance Shop:

Established in 1994, The Fragrance Shop is the UK's leading independent fragrance retailer. With over 220 stores nationwide and a fast-growing digital presence, we make luxury and mainstream fragrances accessible to all.

As we enter a major phase of digital growth — including the launch of a brand-new Shopify site and international ecommerce expansion — we're looking for a commercially sharp, detail-driven Ecommerce Merchandiser & Trade Executive to help shape the future of our online business.

Why You'll Love Working Here:

* Vibrant, modern HQ in Trafford Park with free parking and excellent transport links

* Free onsite gym — perfect for pre- or post-work workouts

* Generous staff discounts on a huge range of fragrances

* Collaborative and fast-paced culture with space to own and drive digital initiatives

* Real career progression and development within a growing ecommerce function

The Role:

Reporting to the Ecommerce Manager and working alongside two other Ecommerce Executives, you'll support the day-to-day running of our ecommerce platforms. This includes site merchandising, trading performance, and product content — with a strong focus on driving customer experience and commercial results.

You'll also play a key role in supporting the launch and merchandising of a new concept website on Shopify, contributing to its setup and optimisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Online Merchandising:

* Merchandise products and categories for maximum visibility and conversion

* Keep homepages, landing pages, and promotional edits fresh and relevant

* Assist with merchandising and setup of a new Shopify site

Trading & Analytics:

* Monitor key ecommerce KPIs including revenue, AOV, traffic, bounce rate, and conversion

* Use reporting tools and analytics to support performance insights and recommendations

* Identify optimisation opportunities to improve customer journey and trading results

Content & Product Management:

* Maintain accurate product content, imagery, and descriptions

* Ensure promotional offers, banners, and seasonal content are updated on time

* Optimise product detail pages (PDPs) to drive conversion and support SEO

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

* Work closely with internal teams including CRM, SEO, Paid Media, Social, Marketing, and Buying & Merchandising

* Support product launches, promotional campaigns, and seasonal planning

* Brief in content and creative needs to internal and external teams

Skills & Experience:

* Experience in an ecommerce or merchandising role, ideally in a retail environment

* Familiarity with ecommerce platforms; Shopify experience is a plus

* Strong attention to detail and confident working with data

* Proficient in MS Office and Excel; basic HTML knowledge helpful

* Understanding of ecommerce marketing channels (SEO, PPC, Paid Social)

* Organised, collaborative, and eager to learn in a fast-paced team
