Senior Optometrist – Part‑time Paediatric Optometrist at Dominion Group Entertainment, L.L.C., serving Sherwood Forest Hospitals.
Responsibilities
* Assess, diagnose and manage the treatment of patients referred to the Orthoptic/Optometry service.
* Perform paediatric refraction and fundoscopy, providing comprehensive care for young children, babies and patients with learning and physical disabilities.
* Operate autonomously within the orthoptic/optometry clinic, delivering high‑quality, compassionate care.
* Engage in the Trust’s training programme to achieve necessary specialty competence.
Qualifications & Experience
* Qualified optometrist with clinical experience in paediatric eye care (or a clear willingness to undergo training).
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a patient‑centred approach.
* Demonstrated ability to handle complex paediatric cases.
