The Department of Music seeks a qualified Lecturer in Game Design with sufficiently wide expertise to cover technical aspects (game development, game engines, online gaming) as well as the visual, spatial, and multimedia aspects of the discipline (game art, UX/UI).
The role is full‑time and includes a balance of teaching, administration and research as appropriate to a T&R contract.
The role is based on the Liverpool campus within the Department of Music, which is home to Game Design programmes and staff. It is likely that the post will include some international travel, for short periods, in relation to transnational educational partnerships.
The department are looking to appoint the most appropriate candidate within the Grade 7/8 range, according to knowledge and experience.
