About the Role
You will be empowered to architect a system that unlocks impactful insights for end consumers. You will pioneer a groundbreaking reusable metrics framework for our Research Indicators domain. You will ensure consistent, dataset-agnostic metrics application. Your work will directly contribute to the Academic Evaluation Framework (AEF) and equip researchers with unparalleled data analysis capabilities.
Responsibilities
1. Developing and implementing a groundbreaking reusable metrics framework for research indicators within the Research Data Platform (RDP)
2. Ensuring methodologies are consistent and transferable across a wide variety of datasets
3. Driving the creation of metrics and indicators that empower end consumers to extract valuable insights from the RDP data
4. Fostering a culture of consistent, data-driven analysis that aligns perfectly with the AEF's goals
5. Establishing and enforcing rigorous data quality standards for research indicators within the RDP
6. Ensuring the reliability and trustworthiness of insights generated across all datasets
7. Developing data products and metrics that not only enhance user value but also contribute to revenue-generation strategies
Requirements
8. Demonstrate experience in product management, ideally within the data or information services industry
9. Possess a track record of developing and implementing successful metrics frameworks with a focus on reusability
10. Have in-depth understanding of research data methodologies and best practices
11. Be knowledgeable of data APIs, data governance frameworks, and data security principles
12. Possess excellent analytical skills and experience with data visualization tools
13. Have exceptional leadership and communication capabilities to foster collaboration across diverse teams within Elsevier
14. Enjoy partnering with various teams to identify and integrate existing metrics development efforts, ensuring seamless integration
15. Enjoy working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with user needs, broader objectives, and the consistent application of metrics across datasets
