A new and extended contract came into force in January 2021 through which survivors of modern slavery are now entitled to support at all stages of their recovery. We are looking for a highly motivated, meticulous and flexible Referrals Team Leader to support the delivery of the Modern Slavery Victim Care Contract. This is a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the contract and the support services provided to vulnerable individuals. Key Responsibilities: Provide line management to a team of 10 Referral Officers and Administrative Assistants Manage process workflows by monitoring volumes and work allocation, ensuring KPI’s are met and cases continue to be managed to the required standard Produce reports and analyse management information Facilitate and lead team meetings Ensure all activities performed meet the minimum standards of our Quality Management Framework, adhering to ISO9001 Ensure operating manuals and procedures remain up to date Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Uphold data protection standards and ensure all records are maintained securely. The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate: Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Confidence in handling enquiries and providing high-quality customer service Exceptional written and communication skills People management experience in a similar team leader position Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) A keen eye for detail and accuracy A proactive, can-do attitude with a drive to perform at a high standard What would be beneficial: Experience in the charity, voluntary, or community sector Knowledge of the National Referral Mechanism (NRM) and how it supports victims of Modern Slavery Why join us?
