Job Description:
VANRATH is recruiting a Business Development Executive to join a leading supplier that sells into the construction industry.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.15am - 4.30pm
We are happy to offer HYBRID WORKING (first 3-4 weeks in-office for training).
The Role:
You will be primarily responsible for promoting and selling our brands through day-to-day management of the sales territory and customer relationships. This role offers significant progression opportunities, including moving into a Business Development Manager role and leading a team of executives.
Responsibilities:
* Email and outbound calls to leads to generate sales and uncover market opportunities
* Making calls during 'power hours' for maximum traction
* Developing pipeline on CRM system
* Following up on calls, quotations, and queries promptly
* Assisting with service queries
* Planning weekly and upcoming objectives
The Ideal Person:
* Fluent in English, both written and verbal
* Proven track record of acquiring new business or re-engaging ex-clients
* Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external customers
* Experience in sales within the construction industry or builders' merchants
