Facilities Manager Job Overview: As an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager, you will be supporting the Essex County Council. This role is all about ensuring exceptional delivery of both hard and soft services across a portfolio of buildings in the region. Working closely with two fellow FMs and a Hard Services Supervisor, you'll play a key role in stakeholder engagement, health & safety compliance and driving high standards across the estate. Main Responsibilities: Own service delivery across your region's ECC portfolio, ensuring smooth operations and rapid issue resolution. Collaborate closely with the Mitie senior contract team to deliver on our service plan-meeting and exceeding performance, budget, and quality targets. Maximise profitability and minimise risks through effective operational control and strategic planning. Lead and inspire regional soft services teams to deliver exceptional standards in line with contractual obligations. Develop strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and teams to drive satisfaction and trust. Champion continuous improvement-identify opportunities for innovation and service enhancement. Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, and quality standards across your sites. Drive business goals and contract objectives forward, in alignment with Mitie's values and behaviours.
