What you'll do
In this pivotal role, you will lead our dynamic team to achieve excellence and drive success throughout our transport network.
* Oversee daily transport operations, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries to customers.
* Accountable for delivering a safe, high quality, customer‑focused service on shift at all times.
* Train and develop direct reports and colleagues on shift in line with their personal aspirations and business needs.
* Manage operational performance, resource and workload planning on shift to achieve agreed KPIs on productivity, quality and cost.
What you'll bring
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
* Hold an International CPC Qualification (desirable).
* Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills.
* Experience of leading teams in a complex retail/transport environment.
* Demonstrable record of building and developing teams, driving high performance and engaging colleagues at all levels.
