We are currently recruiting for a Forklift Counterbalance Driver to join a busy and well-established company on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for long-term work in a stable and supportive environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a counterbalance forklift truck to move goods, load and unload deliveries, and assist with general warehouse or yard duties as required. You’ll be part of a team that works together to ensure smooth operations and timely handling of stock and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
* Loading and unloading vehicles
* Moving stock and materials around the site
* Assisting with general duties such as tidying, packing, or basic maintenance
* Following health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
* Valid Forklift Counterbalance Licence
* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
* Ability to start between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM and work a 9.5-hour shift
* Good time management, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure
* Strong team player with a positive attitude
* PPE is required (e.g., safety boots, high-vis, gloves)
