Main Duties:
As a Management Accountant your main duties include:
* Prepare monthly management accounts and present key insights to the Senior Leadership Team
* Post journals and maintain general ledger integrity, including resolving discrepancies
* Perform balance sheet reconciliations (bank, accruals, prepayments)
* Review accounts and conduct GL analysis to ensure accuracy
* Support budgeting and forecasting, including variance analysis
* Manage accounts receivable, including cash allocation, aged debt, credit control, and cashflow
* Oversee accounts payable, including invoice approvals
* Prepare and submit VAT returns
* Post payroll journals

What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
* Studying towards AAT/ACA/ACCA/CIMA or QBE
* Be competent with financial systems
* Have worked at least 6 months in a Management Accountant role
* Have good technical accounting knowledge alongside commercial acumen and understanding of ledger responsibilities/ transactional finance.
