Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated residential support worker, to work within a children's home with an established team, and an experienced Manager, you will be offered support and training, to give you the confidence needed to enhance your role.
Duties
* Build trusting relationships with children.
* Supporting recreational and educational activities.
* Creating a safe and nurturing environments
* Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members.
* Communicate effectively with children, families, and other professionals .
* Maintain accurate records.
* Support children in childcare duties when required, ensuring a nurturing environment.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and their families.
* Ability to drive and hold a valid driving licence
* Experience working with children is beneficial for roles involving childcare responsibilities.
* Familiarity with developing care plans is desirable but not mandatory; guidance will be offered.
