Express Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced office professional to support a busy team within a well-respected local authority. The individual will work flexibly to provide effective, comprehensive support across the wider business and community.
Hybrid working is available for the successful candidate once training is completed.
* Generating and sending invoices, managing the procurement process and creating reports to track performance and analyse data
* Communicating professionally with internal and external stakeholders
* Managing, monitoring and prioritising workloads and ability to process large volumes of data efficiently
* To ensure confidential matters are dealt with in an appropriate manner
* To make appropriate use of financial systems, including the use of Excel spreadsheets and other relevant software systems
Skills & Experience
* Previous office-based experience essential
* Polite and professional telephone manner
* Communication and customer service skills
* Able to use MS Office in a professional capacity
* Able to work effectively as a member of a team and independently
* Can remain calm under pressure, ability to use own initiative and prioritise workload
