IT Business Analyst
Flexible on GTUK office location + Hybrid working available

The IT Business Analyst will help enhance digital solutions to modernize our ways of working and create value for the firm. They will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business problems, refine processes, define requirements, and design solutions across multiple initiatives.
A look into the role
As an IT Business Analyst, you will:
Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
* Collaborate with stakeholders through interviews, workshops, surveys, and other methods to identify and document business requirements and populate product backlogs.
* Analyze and prioritize requirements to ensure alignment with business objectives.
* Validate requirements with stakeholders and assess feasibility with technical teams.
* Apply first principles thinking to process and technology improvements, recommending solutions that support strategic value drivers such as value creation, operational efficiency, modern ways of working, and business protection.
* Work with development teams to implement process changes and monitor their impact.
* Continuously seek ways to optimize business processes and systems.
Solution Design and Validation:
* Work closely with technical, development, product, design, and project colleagues to ensure solutions meet business needs and deliver expected value.
* Provide feedback and suggestions for improvements based on testing and operational monitoring.
Stakeholder Management:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
* Facilitate meetings and updates to keep stakeholders engaged and informed.
* Address and resolve issues or concerns raised by stakeholders promptly.
Knowing you’re right for us
Joining us as an IT Business Analyst requires:
* Proven experience as a technology-focused Business Analyst using industry-standard techniques to improve processes and gather requirements.
* Experience in process improvement and capturing requirements from first principles.
* Understanding of software development lifecycle and technology implementation projects.
* Experience using tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar.
* Willingness and ability to travel for in-person meetings.
* Excellent communication and engagement skills at all levels.
It would be advantageous to have:
* A technology or developer background, with exposure to Microsoft M365, Power Platform, SharePoint, Microsoft Azure, Workday, GenAI.
* Relevant professional certifications.
* Knowledge of professional services and partnership organizations.
