Whether it’s improving your commute, keeping the lights on, providing access to Our Transportation team has a full-time vacancy for an individual with experience of often managing site-based construction work covering highways and transportation projects specifically within the Liverpool City Region. The team is highly successful and growing as workload is increasing and our clients are giving us significant opportunity to be involved in strategically important schemes across the UK and beyond.
We are looking for an NEC Site Supervisor in Liverpool. The NEC Site Supervisor will work with a small team of site-based individuals across the region but mainly focused around Liverpool and Knowsley.
Key areas to cover in the role are.
* Knowledge of NEC 3 and 4
* Quality check role to ensure that construction is in accordance with the Scope / Works Information
* Be familiar with the relevant sections of the Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Works (MCHW)
* Have a regular presence on site, providing independent scrutiny of the works
* Be familiar with ground investigation / site investigations inspections. Be present (for such tests and offer an interpretative view on the findings
* Issue communications as per the requirements of the contract
* Undertake a daily site record of resources, plant and materials and other matters etc to aid the NEC PM with record keeping. This includes taking a photographic record of works in progress.
* Raise Defects in accordance with the contract and provide advice on resolution
* Have a working knowledge of FastDraft
* Raise potential Early Warnings to the Project Manager when identified
* A thorough knowledge of chapter 8, RAMS, and safe systems of working across a range of disciplines such as highways, highway drainage, signals, footways etc
* Attend progress meetings and support the NEC PM.

Qualifications
* Experience working as an NEC Site Supervisor, 3 and or 4
* Experience working on municipal engineering infrastructure projects, such as highways and transportation
* A working knowledge of NEC forms of contract insofar as it relates to the NEC Site Supervisor duties
* Ideally attained the NEC3 or NEC4 ECC Site Supervisor Accreditation
* HNC / HND qualification
