Are you an experienced and passionate ALN Specialist looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with Additional Learning Needs? We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team from September 2025, supporting pupils across Neath, Swansea, and Carmarthenshire.
About the Role:
As an ALN Specialist, you will be working with primary-aged pupils in a variety of school settings, including:
* 1:1 support
* Small group interventions
* Mainstream schools with ALN provisions
You’ll be supporting learners with a range of needs, including:
* ADHD
* Speech, Language and Communication Difficulties
* Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience working with children with ALN and challenging behaviour
* A flexible, patient, and empathetic approach
* Ability to adapt to different school environments
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Willing to travel up to 30 minutes to schools across the region
* Own transport is essential
Desirable (but not essential):
* ALN-related qualifications or training
* Team Teach or similar behaviour management training
