Responsibilities:
1. Define the systems, tools, and processes needed to support higher volumes of internal learning design and delivery.
2. Develop, implement, and operationalise the new learning operations infrastructure, integrating changes with the existing infrastructure thoughtfully.
3. Deliver and continuously improve 'business as usual' learning operations, meeting agreed service standards.
4. Identify and develop training venues across the country, optimising the use of existing government estate and aligning with the government location strategy.
5. Develop a flagship headquarters for in-person training excellence as a central hub for high-quality public sector training.
6. Enable shared use of training venues across the public sector where feasible.
7. Design, source, and deliver infrastructure for learning operations, including developing a network of training venues.
8. Shape strategies and contribute to the overall operating model development.
9. Collaborate with Government Skills colleagues to ensure operational systems meet varied needs.
10. Build consensus among government organisations and liaise with public sector entities for collaboration opportunities.
11. Develop business cases to secure approvals for significant expenditures.
12. Source and implement end-to-end learning operations systems supporting the entire Civil Service.
13. Lead the implementation of new operational systems and processes, ensuring effective transition from existing operations.
14. Manage a multi-million-pound budget, ensuring value for money.
15. Monitor programme progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
16. Facilitate collaboration and communication among project teams and stakeholders.
