The Birmingham office was recently established to service the increasing demand from our clients in the Midlands. It made sense to have a real presence where we can continue to offer a sustainable solution approach whilst keeping a focus on making a real impact to people and places. Since opening the office, we have built a strong foundation of competent planners, mentored by recognised professionals in the midlands area. Alongside this we have introduced Landscape Architecture into the Birmingham office with a further scope to bring in Urban design and other disciplines in time.
The consultancy operates under a one office mentality, which offers more involvement into a diverse portfolio of work across regeneration, housing, leisure, commercial, and renewables. Giving the opportunity to work with prestigious clients and take recognition for developments that are actually being built.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support planning applications and site promotions across multiple sectors
* Engage with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities
* Contribute to the strategic growth of the Birmingham office
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across planning, design, and environmental consultancy
Candidate Profile
* Minimum 3 years experience in planning
* MRTPI Chartered or working towards chartership
* Strong experience in residential, mixed-use, leisure, and commercial planning
* Exposure to renewables or energy-from-waste projects is a plus
* Comfortable leading projects and engaging with clients
* Based within a commutable distance to Birmingham
