Job Description
The Center for Public Health Initiatives at NSU (CPHI) is hiring a Full-time Program Coordinator. This position will support the development and day-to-day management of workforce development programs and education and training programs related to public health.
The incumbent will:
1. Provide coordination and support for programs or projects focused on workforce development, public health education and training programs
2. Apply knowledge of education and training best practices
3. Conduct program planning and development
4. Engage in program implementation aligned with priorities, policies and procedures
5. Provides training for staff and other collaborators
6. Contributes to program evaluations and reporting
7. Contribute to policy development and analysis
8. Performs research and analysis on specific issues, as required
9. Plans and implements special projects or events
Minimum Qualifications
10. A bachelor’s degree or higher in public health or education/training
11. At least three (3) years of experience coordinating programs
12. At least one year of experience supporting workforce development and/or education and/or training programs
13. Effective interpersonal and communication skills
14. Strong collaboration skills
15. Ability to work in fast paced environments
16. Knowledge of best practices in program development and management
17. Demonstrated knowledge of and proficiency with program management tools
18. Strong time management skills
19. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage stakeholders
