About the Division
Our CNC & Finishing Division is recognised as a market leader in the production of high-quality fascia, control, and instrument panels for the luxury and sports yachting sector. Operating within a small, highly skilled team, we combine precision CNC cutting with meticulous hand-finishing techniques to produce components that meet the highest aesthetic and functional standards.
Main Purpose of Role
To lead, manage, and develop the CNC & Finishing Division, ensuring operational excellence, product quality, and on-time delivery. The role combines people management, process optimisation, and project oversight to maintain our reputation as a premium supplier in the yachting sector.
Role & Responsibilities -:

To Support and provide assistance with:
Team Leadership & Development:
· Manage and motivate a team of CNC operatives and finishing specialists.
· Lead recruitment, training, and performance management activities.
· Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high craftsmanship standards.
Operational Management:
· Oversee daily operations across CNC machining and finishing processes (deburring, sanding, powder coating, wet spray, vinyl application, laser marking, polishing, etc.).
· Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
· Manage workflow, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet delivery targets.
Project Coordination & Client Liaison:
· Work closely with the Project Manager to coordinate production schedules and customer requirements.
· Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and external clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project status and specifications.
Process Improvement:
· Identify opportunities to optimise processes, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
· Implement best practices in CNC programming, finishing techniques, and quality control
Budget & Reporting:
· Manage divisional budgets, cost controls, and procurement of materials and equipment.
· Provide regular performance reports and KPIs to senior management.
Requirements
· Proven leadership experience managing CNC and finishing teams in a high-quality manufacturing environment.
· Strong knowledge of CNC machining, finishing processes, and quality control.
· Experience working in the luxury, marine, automotive, aerospace, or similarly demanding sectors is highly desirable.
· Ability to interpret technical drawings and production specifications.
· Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Competent with production planning tools and software.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £30,000.00-£37,500.00 per year
