Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year Requirements:
* We are seeking candidates with strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), JavaScript, and HTML/CSS. You should have experience with Salesforce configuration, including custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and page layouts. Familiarity with the Salesforce sharing model and security best practices within Experience Cloud is essential, along with a background in enterprise-level Salesforce implementations. An understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices is also required, along with experience in source control management and using DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps or Flosum. Additionally, you should have experience integrating with third-party platforms using REST/SOAP APIs and familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. Database experience, including SQL, DB2, or SOQL/SOSL is expected. A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related area (or international equivalent) is required, along with 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience and 3+ years specifically working with Salesforce Experience Cloud. A thorough knowledge of agile software development practices, experience in security best practices, and excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills are crucial. You should also be able to maintain professional and strong relationships with business partners, contractors, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
* As a Salesforce Developer, you will design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions, specifically focusing on Salesforce Experience Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud. You will implement customized Experience Cloud sites, which include customer, partner, and employee portals. Your responsibilities will include developing Lightning Web Components, Apex classes, and Visualforce pages as needed, configuring Experience Builder, and leveraging standard components for responsive UI/UX. You will integrate third-party tools, APIs, and Salesforce data models to support seamless site functionality and collaborate with designers, admins, and business analysts to gather requirements, translating them into technical solutions. Maintaining documentation of customizations, processes, and best practices will also be part of your role. You will engage with stakeholders to understand business objectives and contribute to the development process, which includes planning and estimation, writing code, creating automated tests, maintaining Continuous Integration (CI) builds and environments, deploying solutions, and supporting production systems. Additionally, you will work within an Agile framework, ensuring that quality assurance activities are integrated into development and release cycles, and utilize Azure DevOps for planning, tracking, and coordinating testing efforts.
