SEN Teacher – Wakefield
Daily Rate: £160–£210/day | Full-Time | Long-Term | Temp-to-Perm
A specialist school in Wakefield is looking for a passionate SEN Teacher to lead small classes of pupils with ASC, SEMH, and complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver adapted lessons to groups of 5–8 pupils.
* Use communication strategies such as PECS and Makaton.
* Collaborate with TAs and therapists to ensure pupil progress.
* Implement behaviour management strategies with consistency.
Requirements:
* QTS (or equivalent) with SEN experience.
* Strong knowledge of the curriculum and differentiation.
* Empathetic, proactive, and resilient.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
