<div><h3>Senior Design Manager | Facades & Remediation | Dartford | Perm or Freelance</h3></br><p>Im working directly with a façade and remediation contractor who are looking to strengthen their technical team due to multiple major project wins across London and the South East.</p></br><p>This is a key hire within a lean technical team where they need someone experienced enough to take ownership quickly and operate with minimal hand-holding.</p></br><h3>The Role</h3></br><ul></br><li>Technical lead across a £14m recladding project and a £6m remediation scheme</li></br><li>Both projects are 6/7 storey buildings with substantial external envelope packages and large footprints</li></br><li>Managing technical coordination, design reviews, consultant/subcontractor coordination and site support</li></br><li>Working closely with operational and commercial teams across live remediation projects</li></br><li>Reporting directly into senior management within a very small technical team</li></br><li>Office based in Dartford with site visits as required</li></br></ul></br><h3>What theyre looking for</h3></br><ul></br><li>Strong façade / recladding / fire remediation experience is essential</li></br><li>Someone capable of hitting the ground running technically and operationally</li></br><li>Strong preference for construction-led backgrounds</li></br><li>They feel candidates coming from purely architectural routes often struggle with the pace and practical delivery side of the role</li></br><li>Organised, proactive and commercially aware</li></br><li>Comfortable operating within a lean business environment where ownership is expected</li></br></ul></br><h3>The Business</h3></br><ul></br><li>Growing façade and remediation contractor with major recently secured workload</li></br><li>Long-term pipeline across London and the South East</li></br><li>Small, hands-on technical team with direct exposure to senior leadership</li></br><li>Delivery-focused culture with strong emphasis on accountability and pace</li></br></ul></br><p>Good opportunity for someone wanting genuine ownership, major recladding schemes and a business where experienced technical people are heavily relied upon.</p></div>
