AnyVan is on a mission to create the world’s most efficient logistics technology, harnessing technology and data to acutely optimise consumer pricing, supplier rates and vehicle routing.
Through the generation of consolidated ‘Journeys’, we can continue to dramatically reduce our Cost to Fulfil - all the while empowering our supplier network, enriching our customer experience and reducing negative environmental impact.
On any given day, AnyVan receives approximately 7000 consumer requests for prices/quotes, all of which have varying conversion rates, service requirements, pricing formulas and average transaction values (ATVs).
As our Lead Product Manager you will work closely with our data team focusing on our core consumer pricing functionality which is supported by AnyVan’s ‘Optimisation Engine’ and it’s ‘Price Capability’ and improved accuracies through access to real time data inputs (i.e. upcoming jobs, Fixed Vehicles, live Journeys). This is a highly commercial role with clear objectives to help drive 10% increase in revenue year on year.
What you'll be doing:
* Create and maintain a product strategy which aligns with our business goals
* Create and own the road-map, timing and delivery
* Develop a deep understanding of the needs of our consumer pricing capabilities and create solutions that cover our consumer pricing challenges
* Use your strong leadership, organisational and execution skills to establish a shared vision for pricing across the company and create best in industry products and features
* Define and measure metrics and highlight the impact of changes to ensure that business benefits have been achievedInspire and motivate a team of engineers and other cross-functional representatives
* Simplify complexity and identify high impact opportunities
* Generate insights from data, research and analysis to inform product strategy
Skills and experience we think will help you be successful in the role:
* Solid experience in a product management role managing the full product lifecycle preferably in a scale-up technology business
* Highly commercial in approach and outlook.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver continuously improving products through a test, learn and iterate approach
* Experience working on data/engines that focus on pricing solutions
* A strategic thinker and comfortable using data and explaining strategy clearly and concisely, written or verbally
* Collaborative and influential, you can gain buy in from, and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders across technology and business operations
* Excellent communication skills – you are articulate and can explain complex subjects in simple terms
* Able to effectively integrate customer research and feedback to help drive requirements, prioritisation, execution and operation
* Thrive onchange and ambiguity and constantly able to take on new challenges
* An understanding of technical architecture and infrastructure would be advantageous

Working Patterns
We are extremely proud of our culture and believe in the many benefits that being in the office provides - all our roles require regular time in our office in Hammersmith.
We do not offer fully remote roles but we support hybrid working wherever possible (3 days in office, 2 days from home). However, to meet the needs of our customers and business operations many of our Operational and Commercial roles are fully office based.
