We currently have a vacancy to join a company that specializes in the restoration of historical aircraft as a Sheet Metal Worker. The role is based just outside of Biggleswade, with a 40-hour workweek. Flexible working hours are available, including the option to condense hours into 4 days of 10 hours each.
Established over 30 years ago, the business operates, maintains, and restores vintage military aircraft. They hold BCAR A8-21, 23, and 25 certifications. Their capabilities include reverse engineering design work, restoration, maintenance, and continuing airworthiness management of non Part 21 aircraft.

Due to increasing workload, they are recruiting an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join their vintage aircraft restoration team.

Main Responsibilities:
* Stripping, cleaning, restoring, and reassembling metal aircraft structures
* Sheet metal fabrication

About You:
* Experience in sheet metal fabrication (folding, shrinking/stretching, hammer forming). Wheeling skills are desirable but not essential.
* Recognition through an aerospace engineering apprenticeship or relevant on-the-job training.
* Proven experience in major repair or manufacturing of metal aircraft structures.
* Ability to work well in a team
* Self-motivated with good problem-solving skills
