We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at our care home. The Home is part of TLC Care, which prides itself on delivering high standards of care and promoting the choices and individual needs of our elderly residents, creating a happy environment for residents and team members alike.
The role of the Kitchen Assistant is to:
1. Assist in the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals and drinks.
2. Prepare vegetables and beverages for residents as required by the Chef Manager.
3. Prepare food trolleys for meals.
4. Assist with plating meals when required.
5. Assist with the preparation of pureed food.
6. Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Requirements:
* Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (preferable)
* Experience working in a kitchen
* Good communication skills
* Team player
