Position Summary
The Security & Facilities Manager has an essential role in the daily operating functions of the store. They manage a well‑organized team of security professionals within the retail and Food & Beverage space, ensuring the safety of the store staff and customers. They maintain oversight of all store facilities and maintenance, conducting routine check‑ins and reviews. The Security & Facilities Manager is the on‑site liaison for all maintenance issues and remains the point of contact for HQ partners and third‑party vendors. They act as a brand representative during any store repairs or renovations. In partnership with the General Manager and HQ partners, they act in the best interest of the brand at all times.

Responsibilities
* Oversee and coordinate all security efforts across all retail and Food & Beverage spaces.
* Maintains constant oversight of the safety and maintenance of all retail and F&B facilities.
* Creates and manages the schedule of the security team.
* Identifies, executes, and upholds all security initiatives and standards.
* Efficiently & effectively responds to all maintenance issues within the retail and F&B facilities, including but not limited to exteriors and interiors of the physical business.
* Manages and regularly audits a network of vendors for efficient and effective repairs and maintenance of all retail and F&B interiors and exteriors.
* Creates and manages safety and security protocols to ensure the safety of employees, customers, and other store visitors.
* Routinely audits security and safety procedures to identify opportunities for improvement.
* In partnership with the Head of Security & Facilities creates Loss Prevention standards, guidelines, and procedures and effectively communicates with all retail and F&B teams. Regularly conducting audits for retention and understanding through team and individual check‑ins.
* Regularly keeps all retail and F&B teams educated on workplace violence awareness and prevention.
* Routinely reviews video surveillance for standards and developmental purposes, as well as any investigations or completion of incident reviews.
* Creates & maintains relationships with all levels of law enforcement.
* In partnership with the General Manager and Director of Retail, creates and maintains the store’s emergency procedures.
* Conducts investigations in partnership with the General Manager, Director of Retail, Head of Security & Facilities, Human Resources Business Partner, and any other business partners, as required by the business.
* Controls traffic flow inside the retail and F&B facilities at all times.
* Managing any line/crowd on the outside of the business to ensure compliance with any property or legal regulations.
* De‑escalate any conflicts within and outside the retail and F&B facilities and partner with the appropriate authorities when situations require.
* Assist store management team with housekeeping responsibilities including but not limited to, dusting, sweeping, collection of trash, and other tasks traditionally associated with standard retail operations.
Special Projects / Tasks
* Act as a brand representative during any facilities repairs, renovations, or maintenance.
* Follow the direction of the Head of Security or General Manager in any emergency situations.
Availability
* Open & flexible availability, including but not limited to evenings, overnights, and weekends as well as Holidays.
* Availability to consistently work weekends, special projects, drops/releases or as the business’s needs require.
Experience
* 2-3 years as Security
* 2-3 years in Loss Prevention
* 1-3 years in a customer facing environment
* 1+ years in a Retail/Apparel environment
* Security Guard Certificate
* Emergency First Aid/CPR Certificate
Skills / Abilities
* Effective communication with both internal and external customers.
* Crowd management.
* Ability to de‑escalate conflicts
* Standing and walking for prolonged periods of time.
* Lifting or moving up to 30 pounds.
* Bending, twisting, reaching, and climbing ladders/step stools and other physical tasks related to standard retail operations.
