Head of Care - Ofsted East Midlands - Derby Salary up to £75,000 Bonus Benefits (DOE) A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Care to join a well-established children’s service that has been supporting communities for over 20 years. This organisation has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality care and is now looking for a senior leader to oversee operations across a portfolio of children’s homes in the East Midlands. This is a key leadership role, ideal for an experienced professional looking to step into a strategic position with a clear pathway to Director level. Key Responsibilities Oversee the operational performance of multiple children’s homes across the region Provide leadership and support to Registered Managers and senior teams Ensure all services meet and exceed Ofsted standards and regulatory requirements Drive continuous improvement across service quality and outcomes Lead on safeguarding, compliance, and quality assurance processes Support with inspections, audits, and regulatory engagement Develop and implement strategic plans for service growth and development Promote a positive, child-centred culture across all services Requirements Proven experience overseeing multiple children’s residential homes Previous experience as a Regional Manager or Responsible Individual Level 5 Diploma in Children’s Residential Care Level 5 in DSL (Designated Safeguarding Lead) Strong knowledge and experience of Ofsted inspections and frameworks Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills Passion for delivering high-quality outcomes for children and young people What’s on Offer Salary up to £75,000 (DOE) Annual bonus up to £10,000 Company car Clear pathway to Care Director Opportunity to join a well-established and reputable organisation If you’re an experienced leader ready to take the next step in your career and make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.
