Our client is a leading manufacturer of construction components within the UK. Due to increasing product demand they are looking to recruIt an experienced Steel handler with FLT & Crane licence to join its established team in the Dudley area with the view to moving to its brand new facility in Worcester late 2026. Duties will include but not be limited to: * Use a FLT Counterbalance to load and unload deliveries of steel coils and move materials into warehouse and deal with associated paperwork. * Assist with movement of finished product to warehouse using FLT counterbalance. * Load / unload steel coils using overhead crane * Movement of steel coils from strage into production using FLT Counterbalance and crane where required * Remove banding and packaging from coils and dispose of safely * Banding and strapping of unused raw materials from Press lines * Ensure production lines are fully stocked with raw materials Applicants must have previous experience within an engineering environment and hold the following licences. Must also be aware that they will be required to move to the Worcester site from end of 2026 FLT Counterbalance (6 tonne) Essential Overhead / pendant crane licence - Essential Raw material / stock control experience - Essential FLT Reach licence - Beneficial Hours of work will be days between 07.00am and 19.00pm Starting hourly rate will be £14.84
