A high-growth, private equity-backed international business is seeking an experienced Interim Tax Consultant to step into a pivotal role during a period of transformation and strategic activity. This is a hands-on position offering exposure to global tax operations, M&A activity, and exit readiness in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment. The Role Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of the global tax function, ensuring continuity, strengthening processes, and supporting key strategic initiatives. Key responsibilities include: * Leading global tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions (UK, Europe, and international entities) * Overseeing corporation tax, VAT/GST, and employment tax matters * Managing external advisors and ensuring timely, accurate filings * Supporting private equity exit readiness, including tax diligence and risk assessment * Providing tax input on M&A activity, including deal structuring and SPA review * Leading a group-wide transfer pricing review, coordinating with external specialists * Acting as the go-to tax expert for finance and non-finance stakeholders Key Deliverables (First 3 Months) * Stabilised global compliance calendar * Clear assessment of tax risks and opportunities (exit-focused) * Prepared tax diligence materials * Transfer pricing review initiated * Defined roadmap for improvements and optimisation About You * Strong international corporate tax background * Experience in multinational or private equity-backed businesses, or top-tier advisory * Proven track record managing multi-jurisdictional compliance and external advisors * Hands-on involvement in M&A and/or due diligence processes For more information, please contact Mo Hanslod at Goodman Masson
