Main duties of the job
Your focus as a Care Assistant – Nights at Camberley Heights Care Home – is to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents. Other responsibilities include:
* Assisting residents with all personal hygiene care, ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect.
* Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infections and escalating any identified risks in a timely manner.
* Acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
* Practising safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
About you
We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual who lives our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable. Experience is not required as we offer thorough induction and training.
Key attributes:
* Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
* Demonstrate initiative and respect towards residents and other people in the home.
* Efficient worker, able to follow reasonable instructions from other team members.
* Adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
Requirements
* DBS Disclosure check – cost met by Avery Healthcare.
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
