We are seeking an Assistant Buyer to focus on building strong relationships and negotiating the best rates with suppliers, supporting our continued growth and success. Day-to-day of the role: Support the Senior Buyer in maintaining a steady supply of quality, cost-effective goods and services from approved suppliers. Foster strong and effective working relationships with suppliers to deliver savings and process efficiencies for indirect spend categories. Assist the Senior Buyer in negotiating, agreeing, managing, and measuring supplier performance against defined SLAs. Participate in a diverse range of procurement and supply chain projects. Work cross-functionally, collaborating with colleagues across all departments to ensure seamless operations. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience in Purchasing/Procurement within a similar position. Proven track record of building strong, productive, and effective supplier relationships. Experience using pre-defined SLAs to manage supplier performance. Natural curiosity with a creative and innovative approach to problem-solving. Passion for continuous improvement.
