Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and personable Sales Consultant with a passion for providing exceptional customer service to join our team. We provide industrial cleaning services within the construction industry, carrying out builders, sparkle and specialist cleans nationwide. The successful candidate will be someone with a wealth of experience within a sales or customer orientated environment. You will need to have drive and motivation to be successful and enthusiasm for learning what Aquila Industrial Cleaning can offer their customers. Previous experience within the construction or cleaning industry would be advantageous but is not essential. A truly effective salesperson can sell anything, so we can teach you what you need to know about the industrial cleaning sector.
Responsibilities:
* Contacting external Site Managers and Quantity Surveyors to understand the industrial cleaning requirements for their construction project.
* Generating opportunities on new projects or with new companies.
* Carrying out construction site visits to generate sufficient quality sales leads.
* Gathering a fixed criteria of information to enable our Estimators to cost and quote for cleaning services.
* Liaising with our Estimators to ensure they are well equipped to convert your lead into a quote and ultimately a sale.
* You will provide a vital role in the sales process, ensuring a consistent flow of sales leads to the estimating team.
Skills
* Previous experience effectively working within a target driven sales environment.
* The ability to establish a rapport quickly and effortlessly with people.
* A drive to earn and consistently achieve targets.
* Good listening skills to understand customer requirements.
* A valid driving license which is free from excessive points.
* Core administration skills.
* A good understanding of Microsoft Office suite.
* The ability to quickly familiarise yourself with computer systems and processes. A strong understanding of working with Excel would be useful but not essential.
