We are looking for an enthusiastic Advanced Clinical Nurse Specialist in Ophthalmology or a Specialist Optometrist to join our dynamic ophthalmology team within NHS Fife. The post involves providing optometry services to work predominantly in adult ophthalmology clinics. Further opportunities to be involved in teaching of junior medical staff nursing staff, are available and research/audit is actively encouraged with regular in-service training within the department and funding for national meetings.
This post would suit an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist/ Optometrist who has completed Independent Prescribing and has experience in specialist clinics such as glaucoma, corneal and dry eye.
Fife is situated within a commutable distance from Edinburgh and the central belt of Scotland
