Accounts Manager - Partner Designate - £75,000 I am supporting a highly reputable Top 20 accountancy firm in their search for a commercially-minded Portfolio Manager/Accounts Manager to join their Swiss Cottage office on a permanent and hybrid basis. This is a leadership position with clear succession planning in place, offering a defined pathway to partnership and the opportunity to inherit a high-value portfolio in the coming years.
Key Respnsibilities:
* Manage and grow a personal portfolio of clients, delivering a high standard of service and ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
* Build and maintain long-standing relationships with clients, directors, and internal teams.
* Review team work and outputs to ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and professional standards.
* Provide clients with insightful, proactive advice to support growth and compliance.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability through technology and best practice.
* Contribute to wider business planning and strategy with a focus on revenue and profit growth.
* Maintain a hands-on role in client delivery while supporting and mentoring junior staff.
* Play a central role in the firm's succession plans, with strong potential for future partnership.
Requirements:
* ACA or ACCA qualified.
* Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience within general practice, ideally in a mid-tier firm.
* Proven track record of leading client relationships and delivering high-quality service.
* Strong IT skills and a willingness to adopt new technologies and systems.
