The Opportunity
GPW Recruitment are currently partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in the Radcliffe area who are looking to recruit a skilled Engineering Machinist to join their on-site engineering team.

This is a hands-on role, supporting production and maintenance by manufacturing components, setting dies, and carrying out precision machining tasks to keep operations running efficiently.

The Role
As an Engineering Machinist, youll be responsible for:

* Operating a wide range of machines including manual lathes, milling machines, radial drills, and vertical/horizontal machines

* Manufacturing and modifying parts for breakdowns, preventative maintenance, and project work

* Setting and adjusting dies for both manual and automatic presses

* Performing blade grinding using surface grinders to precise tolerances

* Reading and interpreting technical drawings accurately

* Working closely with engineers and supervisors to prioritise workloads and minimise downtime
