Warehouse Manager - Bridlington
Salary: £40,000 per annum + bonus
Hours: Monday – Friday (40hrs/week) with some flexibility across 24/7 operations
We’re looking for a hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead a team of 20 across two sites in a busy manufacturing environment. This is a senior role reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, responsible for making sure a warehouse runs efficiently, safely, and on time to support production and customer orders.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Manage the full warehouse function: goods in/out, picking for production, stock control
2. Lead, coach, and develop a team including operatives, a supervisor, and a stock controller
3. Work closely with purchasing and operations to ensure stock arrives on time and production is never held up
4. Drive KPIs for accuracy, efficiency, cost control, and service levels
5. Improve layout, processes, and space management using lean principles
6. Ensure full compliance with H&S, QHSE, and other standards
7. Handle training, appraisals, performance, absence, and team engagement
8. Communicate effectively across two sites and multiple departments
What we’re looking for:
9. Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Warehouse Manager
10. Manufacturing environment experience (not just distribution)
11. Strong stock control, goods in/out, and production support experience
12. Confident leader with a proven track record in managing and developing staff
13. Good understanding of warehouse KPIs, systems, and cost control
14. Strong knowledge of health & safety and compliance
15. Organised, hands-on, and able to work under pressure
