We are seeking a Materials Logistics Manager to join our team at Hinkley Point C on a permanent basis. The Materials Logistics Manager will oversee and coordinate the storage, transportation, and delivery of goods across the supply chain, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning & Coordination
* Plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services
* Direct and optimise the full order cycle from procurement to delivery
1. Operations Management
* Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments, inventory control, and warehousing
* Arrange warehouse layout, catalogue goods, and plan delivery routes
* Monitor stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and performance metrics
2. Supplier & Stakeholder Engagement
* Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers
* Manage contracts and relationships with third-party logistics providers
