This Associate Director role is to join our Milton Keynes financial planning team and contribute towards our growth plans. You will be part of a team of 6 planners and support staff. While the team manages existing clients, the main focus will be to establish a local market presence and focus on winning new clients.
The goal is to lead growth by attracting new clients through external and internal contacts in our Milton Keynes office, aligning with the firm's strategic growth plan. A significant part of this will be to increase the profile of Financial Planning at Forvis Mazars within Mazars LLP and the wider professional community, and to contribute to the development of Forvis Mazars Private Client services.
About the role
* Develop or bring an existing presence in the local marketplace with a plan to acquire new clients.
* Comply with the Training and Competence Scheme of Forvis Mazars Financial Planning.
* Manage a portfolio of existing clients, identifying and pursuing planning opportunities.
* Provide financial planning advice to Forvis Mazars LLP clients and external referrals.
* Collaborate on growing the Milton Keynes business with the wider Forvis Mazars LLP team.
* Build and maintain relationships with staff and partners within Forvis Mazars LLP.
* Increase client penetration within Forvis Mazars LLP.
* Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of personal tax and financial planning.
What are we looking for?
* Diploma qualified minimum, ideally Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Financial Planner.
* Strong financial planning experience.
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
* Proven ability to generate new work from external client sources.
* Organised, adaptable, with a commercial outlook.
* Ability to work independently and exercise judgment.
* Proactive in managing existing relationships and developing new ones.
