Are you confident working with young people and looking for flexible work in secondary schools?
We’re currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to support a range of secondary schools across Bristol. This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with experience working with young people who are interested in gaining classroom experience.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom to supervise pre-set lessons when teachers are absent, helping to ensure students stay on task and maintain a positive learning environment.
What the Role Involves
Supervising classes across KS3 and KS4 using pre-prepared lesson materials
Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain focused on their work
Supporting students with tasks and maintaining a productive learning environment
Reporting back to teaching staff on lesson progress and any issues that arise
Working across a range of subjects depending on school needs

We’re Looking For
Confident individuals with strong communication skills
Experience working with young people (education, tutoring, coaching, youth work, etc.)
The ability to manage a classroom and maintain a positive learning environment
A proactive and reliable approach to work
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
