A specialist school is now looking for an Assistant Headteacher to join them just outside Cardiff.

As Assistant Headteacher, youll assist in the management of the school and the leadership of the MDT (composed of teaching, therapeutic, pastoral and other specialist professionals), retaining a part:time teaching commitment.

This is a permanent, full:time position for an Assistant Headteacher (term:time only) .
Person specification:
* ( Essential ) Qualified Teacher Status
* ( Essential ) Degree:level qualification
* ( Essential ) Previous team leadership experience (e.g. as Head of Year, Head of Department or as senior leadership)
* ( Desirable ) Experience teaching pupils with ALN/SEN such as PMLD, ASC, SLCN and sensory and physical impairments
* ( Desirable ) Notable experience as a member of the senior leadership team within an education environment
