Overview
Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a full‑time consultant psychiatrist to work in the established Mental Health Liaison Team at Fairfield General Hospital. This substantive appointment will lead the consolidation of recent developments within the service, helping it continue to meet the ‘Core 24’ standards set by the Department of Health.
Responsibilities
The post involves clinical work that includes assessment and interventions with patients in the acute trust, working closely with an expanding multidisciplinary liaison mental health team. Responsibilities also encompass liaison, educational, managerial and service evaluation roles, and promoting the development of skills within the acute trust and pathway development.
