We are currently seeking a Furnace Technologist reporting directly to the Head of Technology to join our team based in either London or Milton Keynes.

About the mission we offer you:
You will be joining as a key member of our Technology Group which responsible for the following activities:
1. Managing the activities in the UK Operating Centre for Research & Development projects
2. Providing technical support to Sales
3. Identifying potential new prospects that the company may exploit and develop
4. Providing technical input to the proposals group, for the maintenance of experience lists, brochures and other proposal materials
5. The preparation and maintenance of UK Operating Centre procedures and other technology standard documents
6. Working with the Technology groups in other offices to ensure consistency of design standards and methodology
7. Working with other offices to share best working practices and experience
8. Provide recommendations and inputs into the production of work orders and R&D projects for the development of technical expertise
9. Preparing papers and making presentations for technologies supported by the UK office
Your responsibilities and involvement will include:
10. Produce furnace designs for grassroots furnace and revamp projects
11. Produce studies as required by clients
12. Produce furnace guarantees
13. Perform and check detailed calculations and issue project documents
14. Interface with engineering disciplines and departments as required
15. Interface with suppliers for equipment design and supply as required
16. Further the development of the furnace technology
17. Improve the methods that are used to determine the process design of furnaces
About you:

18. Chemical Engineering degree
19. 5-15 years’ experience in fired heater, boiler or furnace design
20. Supervisory skills
21. Strong work ethic and ability to problem-solve
22. Interest in technology and design career
