We are delighted to be working on an exclusive agency arrangement with our successful and professional client as they seek to recruit a part time Bookkeeper / Finance Administrator to join their team at their offices close to Burgess Hill, in a unique and beautiful rural setting. This role is an office based part time position (3 full days or 4 or 5 part days - 21 hours per week). This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful business who have very strong staff retention levels.
Bookkeeper / Finance Administrator
Part time permanent role
21 hours per week, 3 full days or 4 or 5 part days - Office based role only.
Role based close to Burgess Hill in a rural setting with plenty of free parking for staff on-site. Due to workplace location it is essential to be a driver and have your own transport
Salary - £16800 per year (£15.38 per hour) for part time hours - Very good company benefits, including an excellent pension scheme and a yearly allowance of £750 from the benefits platform.
The role - Bookkeeper / Finance Administrator
The Bookkeeper / Finance Administrator will report to the Commercial Director and will assist the co-ordination of office activities and operations.
Duties will include:
Undertaking the treasury/invoicing functions
Chasing outstanding client invoices
Answering phone calls and forwarding to the relevant person
Support the documentation of finance functions
Booking of travel and accommodation
Supporting the production of monthly pension payment spreadsheets
Supporting the management of process/policy documentation.
Experience, competencies and knowledge required
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines
Good team player
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good IT skills, especially Excel
A methodical approach and good problem-solving skills
Good numeracy levels
